Basement Reno- update

Things have been going slow lately. Partly because my ability to help is very low, and not wanting to do anything smelly. 

Our contractor was here last weekend to do the electrical and insulate.

I have to say it was a last minute decision to insulate, it wasn't insulated before. We noticed right away the warmth from insulating and less noise. 

We also insulated the weird area between the finished wall and floor joist above. It was then finished with oak boards.
