A fun Christmas gift

.Omg! I will tee it up saying it was given to me by my brother. I have 1 brother and 3 sisters. So he was always around girl stuff.

A tampon tree! I about fell out of my chair when he gave them to us tonight. A lady he works with makes them & sells them at craft shows. He bought. Them for a all my sisters, mom and grandma. What will be more funny , is my grandma is known for copycat(ing) crafts . We'll see if she starts making them.

Don't forget the Reason for CHRISTmas.

Seems the whole reason behind Christmas has been lost in the moose family, or at least buried deep in the snow at the moment.

All the while, this made my Christmas shopping a lot lighter, not having to go over there.

I promised when I get home from work, that I would delete my FB Account for a while, I don't need all that moose drama.

today..

In light of this weeks events, I am a little behind on my Christmas presents..

I have 15 nieces & nephews on hubs side. I only have to buy & wrap, for those that are going to be in town.. which is only  7 this year.  5 of them are 5 & under so they get excited to open anything.

We had Christmas with my cousins today so I had to be ready for gifts for the little ones again.. ( again, only for those present ) ..

I ended up taking my 3 year old nephew shopping with me today, to help finish up my shopping.. ( well most of it ) He surprisingly was the best medicine for me at this time.

Seeing everything in his simple eyes.

I invited him to go out shopping & to lunch; at a restaurant  that is popular because it has a train theme. He was soo thrilled, he dressed up like a train conductor.. the stripped overalls & his thoma.s the train shirt. we talked about Christmas & what it is about. ( at a 3 year old level ) since daddy is not around right now, I asked E if he had got mommy anything for christmas he said no, I said well what do you think might be a nice thing to get mommy.. he said right away.. makeup.. she is pretty.   then we talked & decided to go buy clothes too, something from a "girl" store he said.. & PINK.. he said mommy needs pink.  so we bought some items at the beauty store & a couple of shirts( one pink & one I picked out ) he carried the pink shirt through the entire store for mommy.

He never once.. asked for anything for himself..

Surprisingly I think he GOT it.. that it's not always about something for "me" . he got some bubble bath for his little brother too.

Christmas

On Christmas Eve, we took my sister, nephew E & 6 day old nephew to church.. my sister said she needed an extra hand ( or two). They then came over for dinner. Nothing special, but sister # 3 came over also. Then the grandma's came over to see the baby.  We let the nephews open 1 present that Santa dropped off at our house for them, while we were at mass. My sister told us that E could not have a remote control car at his house, but he could have one at our house, so that's what he got. My hubby bought himself one about a month ago & he and E absolutely have a blast playing with it. So hubby has a BIG one & E has a little one. They had a blast playing with them. All E can manage is bumping into walls, but he just laughs & giggles every time he does it.

WOW, was the big word of the night.. E doesn't like to talk much.. but WOW was, the Christmas lights, WOW , was the remote control car, WOW was dessert, WOW was the Santa toy that sings.   Soo cool to be two again.

We woke up this morning, and made bacon & sausage to take to my mom's house for breakfast. Drove over to open presents with my siblings, stayed to play with some more toys with E. Got home in time to take a 1 hour nap before heading to hubby's family for dinner.  We had dinner & got to open presents with 7 of 14 nieces/nephews.  all the under 5 crowd got jammies from us.. & for whatever reason,, the 4 of them all wanted to wear their jammies to dinner.  After dinner we listened to a CD that grandpa wanted everyone to hear & their was a quiz on it.  Then the kiddo's performed a Christmas pagent.. I was lucky enough to help out & be the Angel Gabriel.  we all had impromptu costumes ( whatever we could find lying around) baby Jesus was given "practical gifts from the wisemen" like diapers, wipes & baby lotion. -- all kid production. very cute..
We then put on some old VHS home videos of my hubby & siblings ... had a riot watching them.

Thank  you prayer buddy, for praying for me! I had a nice, calm & peaceful Christmas!
