A little more info

I am normally a really private person & keep things very private, but since the blogger ladies offer up such wonderful prayers, I am going to share a little more than I can anywhere else. I am going to delete this post after a couple of days, so just know that your prayers are always warmly appreciated.

Tonight after work, I am picking up my 2 nephews.  They are 2 1/2 & 4 months.  I have a new appreciation for parents after trying to install 2 carseats into my SUV last night.  I don't know how I would ever get 3 car seats in.  I guess if it hadn't been dark, and being extremely exhausted, it wouldn't have been so bad.  It took me like 45 minutes to get everything adjusted. The car seat for the 4 month old is brand new, & was adjusted for a tiny infant. He seems like a tank at 16 lbs. Thank goodness, I didn't just throw the car seats in the back seat & try to install them at daycare pickup.   Thankfully I got up early this morning , so I will take off a little earlier than normal to trek across town & back to our side of town.  What's even cooler, is the 2 1/2 year old, can now say my husbands name.. so he can run around for a couple hours & holler,, uncle muck , uncle muck.. well in his language that's my husbands name.  Hopefully the 2 of them will go out & play some "bat" outside.. (baseball). Little guy is soo cute, he T.ebows every time he chases after the ball.    Given all that's going on with the parents, in the last 2 weeks, my husband has been very good for the 2 little guys..& gives them a ton of attention when they are around.

accupuncture

So on one of the "daily" deal sites, their is an offer for accupuncture. I'm toying with purchasing it.

project: guest room

My project for the next couple of nights... to paint the guest room.
The color from V.alspar: Green Tea Leaves . Shown on the wall in the picture.
It looks a little darker in person..The floor we will be putting in is a little darker, than the picture.
Trim paint is: V.alspar craft white, it's about the same color as the floor molding in the picture.



I figure when god blesses us with a little one, I like the green for either gender.
I'm not a pink frilly girl.   Deadline ensuing, because we may have some little guys staying with us next week.

Prayer Buddy Reveal

I had the privilege to pray for *the misfit  at www.justbeinginfertile.blogspot.com

I prayed for her  intentions fervently, everday. I offered them daily at mass, during the retreat I attended,  daily at noon while I read & reflected on daily lenten meditations.

I read thru most of her blog history.  She makes me feel more comfortable with "living" life, and stop stressing about the "IF" life. 

Please keep posting about your house & all the fun (( and maybe not so fun )) projects.  It's always fun to read your start to finish projects.   I will always keep your intentions in my prayers.

All ready

3 day weekend, Triduum, family. What could be better. 

I mailed off the Easter basket for my Godchildren.  It should arrive tonight & I will get the squealing phone call of OOOOoooh.. & Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

Mailed something to my Prayer Buddy. I sure hope she enjoys it.  It has been a joy to pray for her this Lent.
