7 QT's

My Quick Takes are going to be my goals for  the weekend.

Since I haven't felt the greatest in the last oh let's say 12 weeks, a lot has been neglected around our abode.
The basics have been getting done, like things that bring in the bacon, but household things have severely been neglected. 

1) swiffer the house
2) shark the house
3) clean bathrooms
4) weed garden( don't know that's it can be technically called a garden, as it looks more like a jungle)
5) touch up a couple of customers weeding jobs (hubs sent the guys out, they just don't get as detailed as I would like, he won't be around for the morning, so he won't know -he'll think i sat around all morning)
6) vacuum out suv.
7) work on bids

7 Quick Takes Friday

1. Feeling much better on the Poison Ivy front. Still some itching going on, but much more manageable.

2.Now the peanut growing inside of me, has made me quite queasy lately, but not in the morning.
 Drinking some ginger ale does the trick, but I really have no appetite. Hubs was confused when I came home with a bunch of half eaten food from lunch yesterday.. I said wasn't hungry after I started it. He was like WHAT's WRONG, you always like food. I have my desk at work stocked with a bunch of healthy treats, that help me get thru the day, if I am having a tough time with normal food.  Been living on almonds, dried cherries & goldfish this week.

3. 10 days til vacation & we get to meet my new niece.. She'll be six weeks when we get to meet her.

4. My mom/stepdad & grandma left yesterday to go visit my niece, so that is 2 extra houses to watch while they are gone. Mail to pick up, yards to mow, flowers to water..

5. I have about 18 flats of flowers left  to plant. Some customers have been slow about getting repairs done, near the flower beds, so that we can plant. July seems really late to be planting, but things could be worse. 
I hope to get about 10 flats done Saturday..  & the rest will be evenings next week. ( hubs will be out helping me so don't worry i'm not doing crazy work by myself)

6. Just sent my donation to Cari at Clan Donaldson for Dwija's families needs.Hope you have a buck or two to spare. I just got a bonus for a project at work &  donated my bonus to them. + who wouldn't want to help out another Michigan peep !!

7 Quick Takes

 I don't do these often, but since life is soo crazy right now. A numbered post will probably be the "quickest" way to go.
1. Tomorrow is hubs birthday one more year & he has a milestone birthday.
2. I have no gift purchased nor even know what to get hubs ( well his lists of wants are normally out of the $$ range of birthday presents) he needs/ deserves a new truck, etc.
3. Getting ready for the 2 monkeys to descend on our house for the next week.  Thank goodness it's finally looking a little like spring so they can go outside for a little bit each night, so they don't tear up the house.  Just hold away the rain.
4. Received my gift in the mail from 2013 Gift Swap.  Yeah.. Love the cool owl Cup, plus all the pampering goodies.   Thanks G!
5. Hockey--winding down after a short season.
6. Did I Mention we are ready for spring, after snow this week, so ready to be done w/ crummy weather.
7. Got a text with picture of monkey # 1..  with his dinosaur spikes, silly me thought it was a mohawk.
