So when I asked what to do, everyone suggested a shower curtain with some substance. So I was able to accomplish most of my goals with the new curtain. I was able to incorporate most of the exsisting colors in the bathroom, freshen it up a little, I didn't have to purchase new towels/rugs to incorporate it, and not spend a ton of money. As a bonus, I found the cool picture (in the right corner) for $5. I am going to hang it on the wall across from the commode, but I need to Spray paint the frame, it was a little dinged, but for $5 I couldn't resist. It's been too cold to finish all of my projects for the bathroom.
We are still working on the new plumbing fixtures, they were not as easy as we thought. So once we get those done i'll post a picture then. I want to spray a couple of things a nickel color, to make it all updated, but it is still to cold to work outside, so that will have to wait til it warms up.
The new plumbing is ensuing to be a nightmare. We purchased all new, nice nickel fixtures, hired someone to come & put them in. Only to find out, that most of them could not be installed, because of how they previous owners engineered things. So we have a few choices 1) Remove all tile in the tub (not happening now ) 2) cut out a small section of tile & hopefully retile it with the 8 pieces of tile they previous owners left 3 ) find the same manufacturer as the existing fixtures & find a retrofit kit. The weather has been relentless, so hubs has been working crazy, so he hasn't had the chance to go out shopping to see what we can find. So my living room is housing the taken apart shower fixtures. So far, I have the new sink faucet installed & a new shower head. ( Still need the angle pieces to the shower head replaced )
