Limited cell service

No tv

No landlines

I'll be Out of action for about a week as we go vacationing in the Canadian wilderness . ( the family cottage)

I have been so busy at work that my bag is not packed. I so have everything laid out. 3 pillows that's my luxury item & 2 books.

My husband has 3 piles of stuff to go.
The essentials like telescope life jackets, air mattress, Nikon camera

2 changes of clothes a day. In the 40's at night.  70 ish during the day

Cooler, water, fishing hear, new chairs as someone in the family broke the old ones & hasn't replaced them.  + the 4 wheeler not pictured.

We are leaving when I get home from work. We won't arrive til about 10 am tomorrow.

See you in a week.

Caught red handed

Finally was up when the deer came meandering thru our pasture.

Momma had 2 babies with her who did not like to be photographed & they did not listen. She had to keep waiting for them while they frolicked
This is the only shot I got of one of the young ones

Major anxiety

So many things today have been causing me to be overly anxious.

Like 1) dr appt
Where I got to see this little person again

Who is by the way is doing fantastic.

2) staff at dr office. Less than pleasant experience today.  A) they somehow booked but didn't book my next appt. I was very ticked off. It took a lot of planning to get my appt, so that I can have everyone in the car and ready to leave on a sisters + kids weekend when my appt is. So we don't have to spend an extra 2 hours in the car . Now all foiled  cuz of someone in scheduling who doesn't know how to use the computer.

My doctor today asked why I'm so on edge , my bp high when I visit. I told him certain people events In his front office trigger it.

3) I am supposed to start PIO shots. BUT someone foiled that too. Specialists office told me they started the paperwork 6 weeks ago. Said it takes a long time for approval. Dr told me to check on it today , good thing I did, cuz no one had started it . So who knows when I will get them. Nurse coordinator in specialist office is apparently out (medical) so they are blaming her.

Not liking the finger pointing.

4) huge project at work consuming 12 -14 hours of my days.

5) today is a sad anniversary, and I have been on edge for the last couple if days leading up to today. Something tragic happened to an (ex) BIL on this day 3 years ago. Which left my niece without a daddy. And her mom without a friend. 3 years ago the night before the tragedy happened I had a very vivid dream and the BIL was in it (not a good dream) to wake up in the morning to find out that pretty much my dream happened.

I am so looking forward to vacation in 6 days !!!

What makes go around #3 hard

This the third time I'm pregnant. Not everything is "new" to me. Yet, some things are uncharted territory.

*** disclaimer** not complaining.

I still have not told any IRL people. Surprise!!  ( not )

I don't feel like I have a baby bump, but yet none of my pants fit. I've been living in elastic waisted skirts.

Because of my infection, I was advised not to have relations with my husband. I am having a rough time with this. I feel like we should be having the time of our life, no waits, no pressure, nothing is timed, nothing is waiting for a stick to turn a color. Yet we have to act like kids in high school again. I finally am infection free this week. Not knowing what causes it is a big unknown for me. My doctor. & the specialist both are leaning towards infection as the cause of my last loss. So staying infection free is a priority. . . Need to review SPICE.

Starting to get restless during the night. I was up for 2 hours last night. Yet tired in the morning.

Still don't feel like cooking, nor eating for that matter. My favorites like pizza aren't helping me out this time either.

Planning for 5/6 days away in a week and a half this is not helping. No inclination to go shopping. No cravings for anything. Well yesterday cheesecake.( that was a fluke) . Anyone know if it's okay to eat foods that are raw. I'm not talking veggies. At our farmers market is an awesome vendor who sells raw treats, vegan, gluten free etc. like salsa, raw brownies, key line pie made with Avacado. Do you think it's safe? I don't have an appt til Thursday to ask. I love this stuff but have been avoiding also because of it possibly containing bacteria, cuz it's not heated.

That's all for now from my crazy preggo brain.

Little Happies vol 23

Visit Stephanie  At Blessed to Be and company for more Happies.

1. Non caffeine treat!! Miss me a good cold coke on a stressful day.

2. New child friendly coffee table/ storage/ ottoman. Sold our glass coffee/ end tables to a lucky Craig's lister this weekend.

3. Nephew selfies.   ( i don't know why he doesn't look at the phone when he's selfie'ing")

He's always so happy.

4. We had s'mores after lunch on Friday. They don't know that chocolate & Graham's are normally involved.

This guy counts to 2 & takes his marshmallow off the fire. So it doesn't get too toasty, but he's happy.

5. We took some "fake" snake pictures to send to his aunt who has a snake problem at her house. He likes pretending with the snake.

14.0

So met with my regular ob today. Also had another ultrasound.

First my blood pressure was perfect. Partly due to my favorite nurse from he small office was working In the big office ( because I have ultrasound at each of these I have to go to the big office, the small office does not have one) .

She also was able to answer some of my questions without bugging the doc. Joint pain is generally caused by the placenta sucking up all available calcium. Charlie horses common too.

So my kid was somewhat behaved & let the tech measure without flopping all around, although pretty active. HB was 154. Everything is measuring good& my cervix is still firm.

Doctor confirmed everything they saw in ultrasound. He did warn me, that if I feel the least bit uneasily about anything to come In right away , he said don't wait just becuz I'll have an appt in 4-6 days. He said any unusual mucus, bleeding cramping come in immediately.

They also did resistance testing. A) see if I still have infection B) if I do, what will treat it.   Even though there are no visible signs of the infection ( ever ) I told him I still feel like I have it.  10 days or so & we'll find out.

I am writing this from the waiting room of the local urgent care. Not for me, but here with hubs. He was complaining of his ribs/ back/ shoulder hurting. He often throws his ribs out of place. He is still back with the dr. I hope it is nothing more than a rib out of place. Many people have come & gone. So if you can say a quick prayer I would greatly appreciate it.

UPDATE: Hubs is better, He has to follow up with his Dr. He apparently was having a "stress" attack. his BP was super high.. ( probably high, but the inexperienced dr, wasn't helping )  He will probably go on some long term BP meds to help with the stress, since he won't listen to his wife ( that some exercise each night will help unstress him.

How does your garden grow- mid summer update.

This planter is probably doing the best.

Below is what it looked like when planted. About 2 months ago.

No real Secrets. I water when I remember. Which is like once a week. I used the special moisture control to help with my watering forgetfulness. It has also been a wet summer & cool. It's not in 100% direct sun either. All the draping flowers are down to the ground.

This guy likes his spot too  below what it started out as.

Now the stuff not going soo well ( yeah I'm not a perfect gardener)

Poison ivy

These guys have been hit hard be japenese beetles.

These guys have been eaten up by the deer.  ( right at my front door)
All the blooms from the day lilies gone. (Deer )
Eaten the burning bushes. (Deer)

And hostas ( deer)

Veggies garden I've given up, so many things are not phased by my tactics to keep them out.  I've found deer tracks in one corner where I didn't have netting. So basically what the deer have been doing is shaking the netting to see if they can free any veggies. They have eaten off anything that grows thru the netting too.
I've been trying to keep the weeds long to hide the veggies from the predators.

 Close up of the netting.
Tomatoes lost to the deer shaking.

So this summer had been crazy with the animals here . I've seen fox, deer, raccoons, squirrels& groundhogs in our yard. Also saw a coyote in our neighborhood. Exciting to say the least, might have to start trapping again.
