On Christmas Eve, we took my sister, nephew E & 6 day old nephew to church.. my sister said she needed an extra hand ( or two). They then came over for dinner. Nothing special, but sister # 3 came over also. Then the grandma's came over to see the baby. We let the nephews open 1 present that Santa dropped off at our house for them, while we were at mass. My sister told us that E could not have a remote control car at his house, but he could have one at our house, so that's what he got. My hubby bought himself one about a month ago & he and E absolutely have a blast playing with it. So hubby has a BIG one & E has a little one. They had a blast playing with them. All E can manage is bumping into walls, but he just laughs & giggles every time he does it.
WOW, was the big word of the night.. E doesn't like to talk much.. but WOW was, the Christmas lights, WOW , was the remote control car, WOW was dessert, WOW was the Santa toy that sings. Soo cool to be two again.
We woke up this morning, and made bacon & sausage to take to my mom's house for breakfast. Drove over to open presents with my siblings, stayed to play with some more toys with E. Got home in time to take a 1 hour nap before heading to hubby's family for dinner. We had dinner & got to open presents with 7 of 14 nieces/nephews. all the under 5 crowd got jammies from us.. & for whatever reason,, the 4 of them all wanted to wear their jammies to dinner. After dinner we listened to a CD that grandpa wanted everyone to hear & their was a quiz on it. Then the kiddo's performed a Christmas pagent.. I was lucky enough to help out & be the Angel Gabriel. we all had impromptu costumes ( whatever we could find lying around) baby Jesus was given "practical gifts from the wisemen" like diapers, wipes & baby lotion. -- all kid production. very cute..
We then put on some old VHS home videos of my hubby & siblings ... had a riot watching them.
Thank you prayer buddy, for praying for me! I had a nice, calm & peaceful Christmas!
