Nausea

Before I left on vacation, the doctor gave me some Zofran for the little bit of nausea I had so far.
I asked for it, just in case. My body, had other plans.

On the plane ride out, all was going well until we hit turbulance while making our descent into the airport, at which point, I wasn't allowed to get up & get my bag either. I had a rough couple of minutes & seriously thought I was going to lose my cookies. Thankfully the tires made contact w/ the cement & I quickly grabbed the Zofran & started feeling ' somewhat better '.  Then we had an hour & half car ride.. which was uneventful, but I was feeling woozy, so I didn't share in the driving.

Day 3 visiting my sister we had turkey burgers for dinner, felt fine, then later in the evening, something hit me & I instantly was not feeling well. I had about 2 seconds before all H#LL broke loose.  I made it into the bathroom, but not into the toilet.. thankfully my sister helped me clean it ALL up.. Walls, floors, etc, We threw all the towels I hit & the bath mats into the laundry before we went to bed. What a mess!

Day 6 out there, I started not feeling well, I took some Zofran & laid down for a bit & felt better.

I took the Zofran this time, mid-way thru the plane ride home, to be safe. All was well during landing. ( we circled for half an hour too, cuz of bad weather. )

  2. You poor thing! Nausea is the worst but Zofran really is a lifesaver. I used to hate getting sick so much as a kid that now when I get nauseous I kind of go into a panic because I'm so worried I'm going to throw up. Unfortunately the panicking just makes it worse and I'm more likely to get sick! Such a vicious cycle. I'm so sorry you had such a mess to clean up but I'm glad that your ride home was better!
