My 5 Favorite's are treats from my home state.
1) Faygo POP ! yes we call it Pop, you may call it soda, one in the same. Rock & Rye is my favorite.
2) Better Made potato chips. ( Gluten Free ) made with locally grown potatoes ( as much as possible)
3) Apples.. we grow many many apples. some varieties that are seldom found anywhere else ( Northern Spy ) are great for baking.
4) MI Cherries.. Cherry Capital of the World -- Traverse City-- our favorite place to visit is Cherry Republic.. They have everything Cherry.. Dried Cherries, Chocolate Covered, Jams, Preserves, pies, cookies, wine, soda, tortilla chips, fudge, you name it they make it.Cherry Goodness
5) Sanders Fudge Sauce-- awesome on ice cream.

ReplyDeleteI think we need to be best friends. All the things on your list are my favorite things about MI too - even down to the Northern Spy apples. We won't use anything else for making pies :-)
