My dear husband was a confirmation sponsor today. (He's the one on the left) ha!
On our way out, we were walking out with the archbishop. My in laws were chatting with him. (They are on a first name basis). He was kind enough to give Lizzie a blessing, which included the added line of, I pray you sleep through the night 2 times. (Sorry no pics) she was very attentive when he was talking to her.
Oh yeah, I just can't dig churches that don't have kneelers. Chairs don't cut it for me.
