Right now I am listening to the sounds of a wind chime given to us by a dear friend after the loss of David. This wind chime brings much peace to my heart when I hear it. We have it hung outside of our family room window. So I hear it often. The key is am I listening for it.
We also have a red sunset maple planted in our yard for David. It brings us many different seasons of joy, new buds in the spring, beautiful foliage in the fall, a thick sturdy base all winter long. He is always there present in the image of the tree.
