Healing takes many forms. Having a child, helps, but doesn't heal the wounds of not bringing home our sons. We love our daughter, but I am so sad, she won't get to grow up with her brothers.
Yes- having Maria was healing but made the loss of Gabriel harder in some ways too. It made him an older brother, so we have to grieve the loss of that sibling relationship.
