E&B made birthday cards for Uncle Fun (hubs).
Mantle with the cards from family
Want to know the sad part. Hubs has 2 parents, 4 sisters, 2 brothers , 5 nieces, 11 nephews. Guess how many of those cards are from his family. 1 1/2.
His oldest sister & family sent one! Thanks M
Parents sent one with the wrong date & the wrong age written in it( I give them a 1/2 for their poor effort ).
What about the other 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and all those nieces and nephews! The same nieces and nephews who all get a card with $$ from their uncle. Okay, so say you didn't have card to mail, nor stamps, nor paper, or xxxxx. How many picked up the phone to wish him a Happy Birthday. ( 0 )
This week is filled with their families birthday's ( starts with a nephew, then hubs, then another nephew, then hubs dad ). Oh yeah, their is a huge party next weekend for their dad, who's having a milestone Birthday, with a zero in it, like my hubs. So trying to say, when the family all lived in the same state, all 4 were celebrated at the same time, so they know about all of them.
They are making it really hard to go to the FIL party & put on a fake smile.
So the cards on the mantle. ( from my cousin, me, E, B, my sister, my mom, his sister, his parents, my grandma )

That really, really sucks. I hate that as much effort as is given out on your part, none is made on their end. None. It is unreal. I wish everyone knew how much a "Happy Birthday" card, email or phone call means ... Everyone has an agenda/ ignores things these days.
